Fraser and Bournemouth prepare for a busy international break
Ryan Fraser and AFC Bournemouth’s other non-internationals have ten days of intense fitness sessions to look forward to but the winger insists it is just what the Cherries need.
Ten players from Eddie Howe’s squad – including England’s Jack Wilshere – have travelled to their respective countries for the international break.
Fraser – who made his Premier League debut this campaign – is one of those that has stayed behind and is still awaiting his first Scotland cap.
The former Aberdeen man won 10 Scotland U21 caps but for now his focus is firmly on Bournemouth as they prepare for the busy Christmas period.
“The gaffer’s international breaks are full of running!” said Fraser.
“We’ll be running around the track, doing the lot – it will be hard work as ever and that will be good for us.

“We hope the lads that have travelled and get games stay fit and build confidence in their internationals.
“I don’t think of a Scotland call-up too much at this moment in time, when I was at Ipswich I thought I maybe deserved one but I didn’t get one, that’s football. My focus is on getting in the team at Bournemouth and the opportunities may come my way.”
