Manchester City’s Nolito keen on Celta Vigo return
Manchester City striker Nolito admits he would one day like to return to Celta Vigo when his time in England comes to an end.
The Spaniard only left Vigo in the summer, joining up with compatriot Pep Guardiola in a deal worth £13.8million, his first experience of the Premier League.
With a handful of fellow Spain internationals alongside him at the Etihad, the 30-year-old has yet to learn English, though it didn’t stop him finding the net three times in his first three City games.
And while starts have come at a premium so far, Nolito continues to be a part of Julen Lopetegui’s Spain plans, in the squad for this weekend’s World Cup qualifier with Macedonia.

And after three seasons at Estadio Municipal de Balaídos, the striker admits he would not be adverse to a return to La Liga.
“I miss Celta a lot. I would like to return. Provided I can, I will return,” he said.
“My adaptation (in England) is going well. I felt a little alone but in the dressing room we speak a lot of Spanish.
“That is why I chose not to study English – with Pablo Zabaleta, David Silva, Jesus Navas, Sergio Aguero and lots of Spanish-speaking technical staff.
“Someday I will have to take the time to do it.”
