Liverpool’s Klopp is best in the world – Henderson

Midfielder Jordan Henderson believes Jurgen Klopp is the best manager in the world at teaching players new skills and helping them improve.

The England midfielder was full of praise for Klopp and his backroom staff who, this season, have lifted Liverpool to the top of the Premier League table for the first time in the German’s tenure.

It has led many to consider Liverpool to be genuine title contenders, a stark contrast to when Brendan Rogers was sacked just over a year ago with the club tenth in the league.

And Henderson believes the 49-year-old manager has been a vital cog in getting the Merseysiders playing in a new and exciting way.

“We’ve got the best manager and the best staff in the world for players that want to improve and think of football in a different way, if you like,” he said.

“I definitely think since the manager has come in, everyone has bought into the way he wants to play.

“For all of us, that’s the best way to play football now and we all know exactly what the manager expects and wants us to do.

“We’ve got to keep learning from that, keep improving, but there is no better teacher than him and the staff as well.”
