Mustafi delight at Gunners’ attacking threat

Alexis Sanchez is leading the Arsenal goal scoring charts with ten after his double on Sunday but Shkodran Mustafi insists the Gunners have plenty of attacking options.

Sanchez took his Premier League tally to eight for the season in Arsenal’s 3-1 win over Bournemouth at the weekend with Walcott also on the scoresheet, taking his total to nine for the season.

Mesut Ozil has also been chipping in alongside the likes of Olivier Giroud and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain leaving manager Arsene Wenger with plenty of options.

And Mustafi is full of confidence in the Gunners’ ability to find the back of the net and push on towards more wins over the coming months.

“I have been speaking a lot about individual qualities that we have in the team, but it’s games like today you win when you are a good collective, all the team,” he said.

“Alexis did well and in the end he scored two goals, but Oli (Giroud) also came on and gave a great ball.

“Then there’s all the other players like Oxlade-Chamberlain who played well, Mesut and all the players we have up front.

“We are always capable to score. We defend and we have to make sure we give them less work to do, because if we don’t concede it’s enough to score one goal.”
