Crystal Palace keeper Mandanda does not rule out move to rivals
Crystal Palace goalkeeper Steve Mandanda has failed to out a switch to one of the Eagles’ Premier League rivals.
The French stopper, who arrived from Marseille for £2 million in July, was hailed by Palace chairman Steve Parish as one of the signings of the summer.
However, Mandanda, who appeared on French show Telefoot over the weekend, suggested his ambitions in English football may not end with the south London outfit.
Mandanda said: “I had wanted to change and discover the Premier League.

“Could I end up at a bigger English club? It will depend on my performances. In football, anything is possible.”
Mandanda has started the season as Palace’s number one, keeping out Wales’ first choice keeper Wayne Hennessey, who was between the sticks for the Eagles for much of last season.
However, Mandanda has not featured in the last two matches because of a knee injury picked up on international duty.
The 31-year-old also admitted he may consider a return to Marseille, where he spent eight years before his move to Selhurst Park.
“That does not just depend on me. You have to see what kind of project they put in place – only then can I answer the question,” he said.
“I cannot say no because we all know that anything can happen in football. For now, there is no news.”
