Leicester City’s Albrighton: We need to keep our cool
Leicester City winger Marc Albrighton insists the Foxes must stay calm if they’re to pull themselves away from the relegation zone during December.
City are 14th in the Premier League after their 2-2 draw with Middlesbrough at the weekend but it could have been much worse had Islam Slimani not scored a late penalty.
A win for the visitors would have pushed them above the Premier League champions and added to the pressure on Claudio Ranieri’s men.
“We need to keep our cool now and pull ourselves away from it,” said Albrighton
“Something isn’t quite clicking at the moment – we don’t know what, but there are so many tough games in this league. We’ll keep trying and look for the next win.”

Defeat at the weekend would have seen the Foxes suffer back-to-back home defeats in the league after West Brom broke their unbeaten run at the King Power Stadium at the start of the month.
But Albrighton hopes that the late goal can prove to be a turning point for the Foxes’ league form as they demonstrated the fighting spirit which saw them be so successful last season.
“It could be a big goal for us because it just shows to people that we’re still fighting until the end and we never give up – that’s been our motto for years and we’re going to keep it that way,” he added.
“That’s the way you’ve got to do things in this league and we’ve managed to do that, so it could be a bonus point.”
