Carroll expecting more summer deals at West Ham
West Ham striker Andy Carroll is expecting further summer signings from manager Slaven Bilic before the transfer window closes at the end of this month.
The Hammers have brought in seven new players in the close season, including Turkey winger Gokhan Tore, as they hope to improve on last term’s seventh-placed finish.
And Carroll is expecting more new team-mates by the time the transfer window closes at the end of the month.
“We’ve got a good squad. The manager has done well in the transfer window and he has probably got a couple more signings to make to make us complete,” he said.
“We’ve bonded pretty well over pre-season. Our dressing room is very good at welcoming new people in and I think we’re all relishing the start of the Premier League season now.”
The Hammers lost 3-2 to Juventus over the weekend at the official opening of their new ground, the London Stadium on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, with Carroll scoring both goals.

And the former England international is hoping for the same standard of service throughout the season to maximise his aerial threat inside the penalty area.
“I’ve been screaming out for crosses into the box since I’ve been here and two came in on Sunday and I’ve got my head on them and they ended up in the back of the net, which was great,” he added.
“I got through pre-season really well, so now I’m just looking forward to the start of the season and to keep producing my performances and scoring goals and for the team to do well.”
West Ham face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in their first game of the Premier League season with Bournemouth the first visiting team to the new London Stadium on August 21.
