Llorente backs himself to be the man for Swansea
Fernando Llorente has backed himself to keep on coming up with the goods for relegation-threatened Swansea City.
Bob Bradley’s side took Sunderland to pieces at the Liberty Stadium, with Llorente’s double and Gylfi Sigurdsson’s spot-kick proving the difference.
That win took them to 17th place and just out of the relegation zone, as they claimed a vital three points over relegation rivals Sunderland – who are now rooted to the bottom of the table.
And Llorente – after hitting his fourth and fifth goals of the campaign – believes he can continue to be the point of difference.

“Today was a very good performance for me, it was great to score two goals,” the 31-year-old said.
“But I know I can improve and do more for the team.
“I have five goals now, but I hope to get more this season, I want to score lots more going forward.
“I think I have more to give to the team, but it was great to get this good victory. Our confidence has grown because of it and we want that to continue.
The victory against Sunderland was an important win for us.
“I am very happy we could get this win with a good team performance following last weekend’s defeat.”
