Boro boss excited ahead of hectic Christmas
Premier League managers often call for a winter break, but Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka says his side are relishing a busy festive period this month.
Boro sit 16th in the Premier League table, three points clear of the relegation zone in their first season back in the top flight since 2008-09.
The Teesiders have won just three times in the Premier League this season and have found the net only 13 times – the lowest in the league.

They face back-to-back away games against Burnley and Manchester United during Christmas week, before hosting defending champions Leicester City on January 2.
But Karanka is not put off and is looking forward to an action-packed few days.
“I think I am used to it now. In Spain, you can spend more time with your family,” he said.
“But you think about all the families here and how important the football is to them, it’s amazing. To play games on Boxing Day for example, is really nice.
“I always said when we have been working to play these kind of games in the Premier League and we look forward to each one.”
