Gray optimistic Foxes have turned Premier League corner
Demarai Gray hopes that Leicester City have turned a corner in their Premier League season as they head into the busy festive period.
The 20-year-old winger came off the bench to set up Leonardo Ulloa for the Foxes’ first on Sunday as they battled back from 2-0 to earn a draw with just ten men.
Daniel Amartey struck the late equaliser at the bet365 Stadium to keep the defending champions three points above the relegation zone.
The Foxes face Everton on Boxing Day before welcoming West Ham to the Midlands on New Year’s Eve with Gray confident the spirit in the squad is as strong as ever.
“As you would expect, we felt a little hard done by but someone said in the changing room ‘use this emotion and put it into a performance’,” he explained.

“I think that’s what we did and it was an important point to get. It could be a season-turner for us and get us going up the table.
“It was an important point which shows what the boys are about and the characters in the squad.
“Obviously a few things didn’t go our way. That happens but we said in the changing room that if we kept doing what we were doing, we could get something out of the game.
“We kept pushing and stayed compact and luckily at the end we managed to get a point.”
