Cork calls for Swansea action after Bradley departure
Jack Cork admits that he has huge sympathy for Bob Bradley after the American was fired after just 85 days in charge, and wished the hard-working coach well.
The 27-year-old midfielder has been a mainstay of the struggling Swans and accepted responsibility for his part in Bradley’s demise, saying the likeable American had been devoted to reviving their season.
“We are all disappointed because Bob is a good guy who worked very hard to turn things around here,” said Cork.
“He was the first on the training pitch and the last off it. He was determined to do everything he could in order to get us out of the relegation zone.

“Unfortunately our results have not been good enough, and the players take their share of the blame for that because Bob picked the team and then it’s our job to go on the pitch and pick up points.
“It’s a disappointing situation, but I wish Bob well in his next job.”
Swansea sit 19th in the Premier League – level on points with bottom-placed Hull City – and Cork knows the Welsh side must counter their doubters on the field.
“We know the situation we are in, and the only way we will get out of it is by winning games,” he said.
“The confidence has been low due to results, but we know that can change with a good outcome against Bournemouth.
“It’s not been the season we wanted so far, but we are the ones that can get us out of this position.”
