Middlesbrough’s Forshaw ‘living the dream’ in Premier League
Middlesbrough midfielder Adam Forshaw has admitted he is loving life as a player in the Premier League.
The Liverpudlian, who joined Boro from Wigan in 2015, seized his first-team opportunity after Marten de Roon was injured on the opening day of the campaign.
Forshaw, 25, has made 17 appearances in the Premier League and is one of Aitor Karanka’s most consistent performers.
Middlesbrough are 15th in the table with 18 points from 18 games. They travel to an in-form Manchester United on New Year’s Eve as they look to put further daylight between themselves and the relegation zone.
And former Everton midfielder Forshaw said he was “living the dream” as a footballer by turning out against the top teams on a weekly basis.

“I’m just enjoying it,” he said, “I’m loving being in the team and helping the team out, it’s what you dream of.
“I dreamt of playing in the Premier League when I left Everton and to be doing it now… hopefully I can be doing it for a long time.
“The last few months have been massive for me.
“For me to get in the team and play has been brilliant. I’ve worked hard and I’m just glad that it’s paying off and I’m able to help the team.
“We’ve made a good steady start to the Premier League. There are areas where we want to improve and try and keep performing well and take it into the new year, but we’re loving it.
“On a personal note, I’m living the dream.”
