Dier’s delight for free-scoring Alli and Kane
Eric Dier has lavished praise on fellow Spurs hotshots Dele Alli and Harry Kane after their spectacular form in front of goal in recent weeks.
Free-flowing Tottenham have won their last seven games in all competitions, with Alli and Kane scoring for fun during that hot streak.
Alli has 11 in all competitions this season, while Kane has 15, including a hat-trick in last weekend’s 4-0 demolition of West Bromwich Albion.
And Dier, who is good friends with Alli and Kane off the field, said the goals the pair score eases the pressure on Mauricio Pochettino’s men as a collective.

“It’s fantastic,” Dier said. “The more they score, the better it is for us as a team. It makes our job a lot easier so hopefully they’ll just keep this form up. I’m sure they will.
“They both work very hard for the team and they deserve it.
“Harry and Dele have been getting two goals in games quite often so [for Harry] to finally get a hat-trick is great for him and hopefully he can get some more before the end of the season.
“I think Dele has got work to do to catch Harry. As much as I love Dele I think it’ll take a big effort to catch him!”
