Schlupp feeling at home despite Palace defeat
There weren’t many players in Crystal Palace colours who could be happy on Saturday, but Jeffrey Schlupp insists he could take plenty of heart from a maiden start for his new side.
The Eagles lost a fourth successive Premier League match at the hands of Everton at Selhurst Park, a result which saw them slip into the relegation zone, with Sam Allardyce still waiting for his first win as manager.
Seamus Coleman’s goal also ensured Palace have picked up just one point from their last 18 available, a considerable fall from grace for Schlupp who won the Premier League title with Leicester City last season.

But the 24-year-old added it was a nice feeling to hear the reception in south London, now hoping his influence can translate into points as his new teammates battle the drop.
“Obviously Everton at home is a tough match to go into for your debut and its been a while since I have played a full 90 minutes in the Premier League but I enjoyed it,” he said.
“The crowd was roaring as always and made me feel at home.
“There are though plenty of positives to take from the game, we created a lot and looked dangerous going forward. We need to take that into the next game and start picking up some points.”
