Mustafi impressed by Gunners belief
Arsenal have the belief that they can challenge for the title according to Shkodran Mustafi, who scored his first goal for the club this weekend.
The German centre-back joined the Gunners in the summer, and has established himself alongside Laurent Koscielny at the back.
And he broke his scoring duck this weekend against Burnley, as Arsenal battled to a 2-1 victory that pushed them up to second in the Premier League, albeit still eight points behind leaders Chelsea.
And Mustafi believes the Burnley victory was more proof of Arsenal’s desire and will to win.

“It was important for us to win even if you don’t look at the other results [of our rivals],” Mustafi said.
“Playing at home to Burnley, you want to take the three points and if you want to stay up there, [winning] is something you have to do and that is what we did.
“Even when Burnley scored the equaliser I looked in the eyes of the other players and you can see we never give up.
“In other games it looks like Arsenal aren’t going to come back or it is going to be a draw, but then we score in the last second just because everyone believes in it. I think you have to give credit to this team.
“It shows how much belief we have in ourselves and that we are going to go for it.”
