New star Ngoy has big plans at Stoke City
Saido Berahino may be the talk of the town in Stoke-on-Trent but Julien Ngoy’s emergence at the bet365 Stadium has also caught the eye, and the Belgian thinks he and his new teammate could become the perfect double-act.
Stoke beat Manchester United and Real Madrid to Ngoy’s signature in 2013, and he has broken into the first team this season – making his debut in December’s 3-1 loss at Arsenal.
Since then, the winger has played frequently – with his appearance off the bench against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday continuing an impressive run.

Stoke have a poor track record of promoting young players, with only Andy Wilkinson and Ryan Shotton coming through the academy to make a serious impression on the first team in recent years.
But Ngoy has big plans in the Potteries and believes he and Berahino could complement each other perfectly.
“He’s a good player. I see him a couple of times at West Brom and I play against him last season in the under-23s,” he said.
“He’s a good player and I think we will be good together.
“To start I have to keep working hard and score soon. I have to listen to the manager and the advice from other, experienced players.
“It’s a little bit of everyone, [Peter] Crouch, [Wilfried] Bony, [Giannelli] Imbula, but a bit of everyone.”
