Dyer hoping a Swans win over Foxes can lead to further progress up table
After lifting the Premier League title with Leicester City last season, Nathan Dyer hopes victory over the champions will lift Swansea City up the table.
Dyer is set to face his former team on Sunday as they welcome the Foxes to the Liberty Stadium and it promises to be another huge weekend for the Swans, as they continue to fight their way up the table.
Paul Clement’s side have seen a turnaround in form since the former Derby County boss joined, and go into the weekend’s fixtures 17th in the table, one point above the drop zone.
“It was an amazing story to be a part of last season at Leicester – winning the Premier League was something no-one predicted,” said the 29-year-old.
“It was a great experience and everyone who was part of it will forever cherish those memories. This season has been a tough one for them.
“We have the quality to be higher up the table, and a win on Sunday would be massive for us.”

Swansea’s turnaround in fortunes saw Clement win January’s manager of the month award after three wins in four Premier League matches.
Dyer added: “We’ve made a great start under the new gaffer and despite losing late on at Manchester City last week; we are building momentum with performances.
“He has given us direction and a platform to work from. We are going in a new direction under him, and we feel as though we can rise the table with a good run of results.”
