Ayew excited to get stuck in with West Ham once more
West Ham United striker Andre Ayew is keen to make an impact for the east London club having returned from a successful Africa Cup of Nations.
Ayew, 27, scored twice and played in every game as Ghana reached the semi-final stage where they were knocked out by eventual winners Cameroon.

Having recovered from an injury he suffered on the opening day of the Premier League season, the Hammers’ record signing is focused on playing his part between now and the end of the campaign.
The team’s next match comes away to Watford in the league next Saturday as they look to improve on their current standing of tenth in the table.
And speaking from their warm weather training camp in Dubai, Ayew said: “I’m happy to be back after a long Africa Cup of Nations. I’m happy to be back, getting fitter and training and hopefully be ready to go again.
“I’m fitter and though I need a few games to get to my top still, I know football is all about confidence and we are playing well now and scoring goals. So we need to get back into that and I can join the squad and add my bit.
“It’s so important for any player, that the squad is in good form and it shows we have a good squad and the talent is there.
“Obviously we can’t rest on what we’ve done and we need to work hard for the next change, because things can change in two games.”
