Dyche backs Gray to build on Clarets form
Andre Gray is starting to find his feet in the Premier League according to Burnley boss Sean Dyche after scoring twice against Swansea over the weekend.
Signed from Brentford in 2015, Gray has got his first chance in the Premier League this season and now has nine goals to his name for the Clarets, including his brace in the 3-2 loss at the Liberty Stadium.
While Burnley are comfortably clear of the relegation area, they have struggled on their travels, but improved their goal-scoring record on the road this week, albeit in defeat.
And according to Dyche, the 25-year-old Gray, who started his career at Shrewsbury, has only scraped the surface of his potential in terms of his all-round game, even if he is already a clinical finisher.

Dyche said: “He looked calm with his penalty, it was a really good finish, and he nearly gets an assist for (Sam) Vokes, so he’s developing, he’s maturing as a player.
“He’s still adapting to the Premier League, there’s still more from his all-round game to come, but I’ve never questioned his ability to score a goal.
“He needed the calmness to deliver from the penalty, and the second was a really good goal – very much like him, he’s instinctive in what he does, and a great turn and great finish.”
