Home form ‘vital’ to Hull’s survival prospects
Hull City’s chances of surviving this season rest largely on their form at home, according to defender Andy Robertson.
The Tigers are deep in trouble, four points off safety following a run of just two wins from ten Premier League games.
With winnable home games to come against the likes of Swansea, West Ham, Middlesbrough and Watford, Hull are certainly not down and out yet.
But Robertson knows they must take full advantage of their matches at the KCOM Stadium if they are to challenge the likes of Crystal Palace, Bournemouth and Leicester City above them.

“We’ve got a few huge home games coming up and we need to make sure the KCOM Stadium remains a fortress between now and the end of the season, as we have done since the gaffer came in,” he said.
“The KCOM is our bread and butter at the end of the day. You have to win your home games to give yourselves a chance. If you win your home games, you stay up.
“Look at Burnley, they’ve only picked up two points on the road this season but they’re arguably safe because of how well they’ve done at their own ground.
“We need to start doing that, especially with the run-in we’ve got and the games we’ve got coming up at home. If we can maintain our home form, then we’ll give ourselves a fighting chance.”
