Kelechi calls for Manchester City fight ahead of Gunners challenge
Kelechi Iheanacho is calling on his Manchester City team-mates to show the necessary fight and desire as they head into the final stages of the Premier League season.
The top flight returns from international duty this weekend as the Citizens face a crucial clash with Arsenal in a bid to maintain their place in the top four.
City currently sit two points behind second-place Tottenham but, with Liverpool, Manchester United and the Gunners all hot on their heels, can’t afford to slip up at this crucial stage.
Iheanacho is therefore hoping his side can show the same attitude they did against Liverpool last time out, resiliently holding out for a draw to extend their unbeaten run in the league to seven matches.

“We are going to go to the Emirates and fight,” he said. “We need a win there. It’s a good team, so we need to fight hard to get three points and the win.
“We are in a good situation. We played well against Liverpool and showed good character.
“We defend well, we attack well, but unfortunately we couldn’t win.
“We are in a good position in the Premier League, we keep fighting and focus on the next games.”
