Pulis draws up summer plans at West Brom
Tony Pulis admits he is planning to go big in the transfer window this summer and push on again with West Brom next season.
Despite being hotly-tipped for the drop this year, West Brom have looked anything but relegation candidates under Pulis’ superb stewardship.
The Baggies look destined for a top-half finish and have not once looked over their shoulder in a campaign where they have reliably managed a comfortable gap to the bottom three.
They are in danger of letting their season peter out though, and on Saturday they fell to a 1-0 defeat at home to Southampton.

Pulis has already identified areas he wants to improve, but refuses to give anthing away – preferring to hail his current crop.
“There are lots of areas I’m going to look at in the summer, but there’s no way in a million years that I’m going to criticise this group of players,” he said.
“It was hot out there and in the last 20-25 minutes I thought they showed some great character by trying to push on and push forward.
“We’re trying to win games. There was an instance in the first half where we’d been down there throats and they break straight away and have a chance and then we win it back and half a chance at the other end. We’re just trying to win games, I can’t fault the players.”
