Byram insists Irons are keeping cool
Youngster Sam Byram believes relaxation is key for Slaven Bilić’s West Ham United side after a frustrating European tie and a winless start to the Premier League season.
The former Leeds United man Byram began on the bench as Bilić’s men lost out to Chelsea in their first Premier League game at Stamford Bridge.
But the 22-year-old then started mid-week against Romanian side Astra Giurgiu, but the Hammers were left frustrated late on by Denis Alibec’s equaliser in a 1-1 draw.
Despite the irritation of giving up an away lead, Byram says everyone at West Ham is keeping it free and easy.
He is confident they will get the results they deserve at the London Stadium against Bournemouth on Sunday and then Astra on Thursday.

“We had done our research on the opposition, so we knew what to expect. We are disappointed to give away a goal so late on,” Byram said.
“We still have the home tie next Thursday at London Stadium and we will take the positives that there were from our performance in Romania.
“The team is relaxed and we have got a good squad, so we will go into the game with confidence and we will get the win we deserve.
“We just lost out to Chelsea on Monday and so we are determined to get the ball rolling and get some points on the board.”
