Tadic confident of seamless Saints transition under Puel
Dusan Tadic believes Southampton can better last season under the management of Claude Puel after putting pen-to-paper on a new contract until 2020.
The Serbian international has been influential in two record-breaking seasons for the Saints after becoming former boss Ronald Koeman’s first signing in the summer of 2014.
Southampton recorded their best Premier League finish in 2015 by clinching seventh spot and improved on that to finish to sixth place last season.

The south coast outfit also competed in the Europa League last season before being knocked out by Danish side FC Midtjylland in the play-off round.
Now Tadic, who cost £10.9million when he joined from FC Twente two summers ago, is hoping to build on that success in the next four years after Puel’s new era kicked off with a draw against Watford.
“I’m looking forward to a successful season for everyone and that I can be an important part for my team,” he said. “What is most important is that we have good results and that everyone shows their qualities.
“I hope we will have two amazing seasons like the last two seasons. We know it will be hard, but we will give all the best that we can and that’s it. We will see.
“We will try to go further in Europe and all cups and competitions and we will see in the end. It’s a really hard competition, but we are in a good way.”
