Wilson wants league debut after dream week
Kane Wilson is targeting a Premier League debut after an incredible week which saw him make his first senior West Brom appearance and collect 11 GCSEs.
The 16-year-old came off the bench against Northampton in the EFL Cup on Tuesday night and two days later picked up A grades in ICT and Citizenship.
The defender, who replaced Brendan Galloway after 70 minutes as the Baggies were beaten on penalties, was disappointed to get a B in his GCSE PE but isn’t letting that ruin what has been a dream week.
“These last few days have just been crazy, simply put,” he said.

“They’ve probably been the best couple of days of my life. To make my debut for Albion was amazing and the support I have since received from fans has been fantastic.
“It was an unbelievable experience and the atmosphere was crazy. I knew the game would be physically demanding seeing as though we were playing a League One side.
“Unfortunately the game didn’t go the way we wanted it too but I was happy with my performance and I thought I coped well.
“It was the proudest moment of my life. I don’t just want it to end there now though, I want to try and make my Premier League debut.”
