Defour slotting in nicely at Burnley
Burnley splashed £8million on Steven Defour over the summer and boss Sean Dyche believes the midfielder is slotting seamlessly into life in the Premier League.
Defour made his Burnley debut in the 2-0 victory over Liverpool last month and has since gone on to appear against Chelsea and Hull.
In the latter clash he opened his Clarets account with a spectacular goal – picked the ball up in his own half and running at the Tigers’ defence before unleashing a 30-yard effort past Eldin Jakupovic.

Robert Snodgrass’ 95th-minute free-kick meant the game ended 1-1 but Defour’s superlative performance won him many admirers.
And Dyche claims that the display by the Belgian – who has won 47 caps for his country – came as no surprise.
“We know Steven is a very good player and that’s why we brought him to this club,” explained Dyche.
“He has played 47 times for Belgium in what is arguably one of their golden eras, and he has adapted here very well.
“He‘s getting fitter and we’re all seeing that now. In the end he had to come off [against Hull] because his calves were getting tighter because he is still adapting to Premier League football. But I thought his quality was excellent.”
