Fletcher keen to see more of stubborn Baggies

West Bromwich Albion have to make themselves tough to beat after showing their spirit to nick a late draw against Stoke according to skipper Darren Fletcher.

The Baggies have now picked up four points from their last two games after a slow start to the season and Fletcher believes they are becoming a difficult side to play against.

That is no surprise with Tony Pulis in charge, with the veteran celebrating his 1000th game in charge with a draw away to the Potters thanks to Salomon Rondon’s late equaliser.

And Fletcher has urged his team that they cannot rest on their laurels with the point pushing the Baggies into the top half of the table ahead of next week’s trip to Sunderland.

He said: “It’s important you go on little runs not losing. To come away to Stoke and get a point is a good result off the back of a home win.

“That should be us really, not losing games. We’ve played well in the last couple of games and we’ve just got to continue that and go on runs.

“If it means winning and getting a couple of draws and winning again you pick up points and find yourselves pushing up the table.”
