Klopp not surprised by Lallana’s Liverpool form
Jürgen Klopp insists Adam Lallana is reaping the benefits of his hard work behind the scenes following the England midfielder’s strong start to the campaign.
Liverpool currently occupy fourth spot in the Premier League and Saturday’s 5-1 win over Hull was their fourth straight in all competitions.
Lallana got the ball rolling for Liverpool with the first goal – his fourth already this season for club and country – while the 28-year-old also chipped in with two assists as he picked up the man-of-the-match award.
And Reds boss Klopp is not surprised by Lallana’s form this term, admitting the midfielder has been a shining light ever since he arrived in the Anfield hot seat.

“Since I’ve been here, you saw [Lallana’s talent],” Klopp said.
“It’s not always about performing like this, it’s about working attitude, it’s about being involved in all the team things, in all the sessions.
“He likes to train, he likes to work. From the first day he was like this.
“This is now only the credit he takes from the work he did. All good in the moment.”
