Watford Success the key for Isaac

Isaac Success’ livewire performances have been a real bright spot for Watford this season and the 20-year-old Nigerian is desperate to reward the Hornets’ faithful for their support.

Though Watford sit 11th in the Premier League, a loss to Burnley at Turf Moor has left spirits low but Success is desperate to live up to his name, earn a spot in the starting line-up and bring joy to Hertfordshire.

With the Golden Boys back at Vicarage Road against AFC Bournemouth this weekend, Success – who signed from Granada in July – wants nothing more than a chance to impress the home fans from the outset.

“We have to do what the fans expected us to do. Walter Mazzarri knows what I can do, and anytime he wants me to play, I come up and give my best,” Success said.

“I feel great, I come in to change and improve the tactics of the team, I’m improving all the time.

“I did what I can do, and now I’m hoping to get more time to show what I can do and to improve the team.

“We have to get the three points against Bournemouth, so we need to go back to the drawing board now and prepare for them.”
