Lovren insists Klopp’s Liverpool are bred winners
Liverpool dropped their first home points of the season against Manchester United on Monday but defender Dejan Lovren insists Jurgen Klopp’s side are simply delighted to be in the Premier League hunt.
Lovren though is not one for lying down and says Klopp has instilled them with a win-at-all-costs mentality.
The upturn in form since former Borussia Dortmund boss Klopp took the helm has been marked according to Lovren and he says the 49-year-old has got the Reds flying at last.
“It’s good when you are in the race,” Lovren said. “You have a better chance to finish well than if you are sixth or seventh. You know everything is possible.

“Every game is a ‘win’ game for us – we have the quality to beat everyone, when you look at the teams we have played already. It’s just about a winning mentality. If we can keep that, at the end of the season we can be proud.
“We improved a lot with Jürgen. We were really good last season when he came, but now we are flying. We just need to keep that winning spirit.”
