Prodl believes Mazzarri can take Watford to a new level
While Watford manager Walter Mazzarri remains somewhat a mystery to many football fans in England, defender Sebastian Prodl insists the players have bought into his methods and believes the Italian is capable of taking the club to a new level.
Mazzarri has an impressive CV, having managed Napoli in the Champions League and taken over at Inter Milan after that.
But this is the first time the 55-year-old has worked on these shores and currently uses a translator for all of his interviews.
Performances on the pitch have been mixed for the Hornets so far this season but they do currently find themselves ninth in the table.

And Prodl said: “I think his idea of football is great. What he wants us to do is something that could go on to another level with this team.
“If we can keep on going like this and can get a good result against Hull, which we are looking for now, it would have been a great start.
“But it isn’t so far – we have had some games where we have got some confidence, but we are still learning the ideas of the coach.
“By another level I mean the kind of football that we are supposed to play, in terms of the table you never know in the Premier League. His idea of football we all agree is a good one.
“The way he wants us to play is not exactly how we are playing at the moment, but we are getting better and we want to achieve great stuff, without limits, and to put us on another level.”
