Bilic confident Hammers heading in right direction
West Ham manager Slaven Bilic is confident his side’s luck will change despite a tricky run of fixtures ahead in the Premier League
The Hammers visit Manchester United twice in five days for top-flight and EFL Cup action, before facing Arsenal and Liverpool respectively – bidding to drag themselves away from relegation danger.
A run of seven defeats from their 12 Premier League games has been a bitter pill to swallow for West Ham fans, particularly with last season’s seventh-placed finish still fresh in the mind.
Bilic’s side also conceded two goals in as many minutes to throw away a lead against Spurs, but the Croatian insists he has seen enough to remain upbeat, despite sitting just one point and one place above the relegation zone.

And the Hammers travel to Old Trafford with recent history in their favour however, denying Louis van Gaal’s team a place in the top four with victory in their final home game of last season.
“I would rather play as well as we did against Spurs than say we have no complaints,” said Bilic.
“It is only a matter of time before we have a change of luck if we continue to play this way although the disappointment is bigger now.
“Of course, we can take some positives from this game and we will but the three points were there for us.”
