Lennon at home on Merseyside ahead of Spurs clash
Everton midfielder Aaron Lennon says he is feeling at home on Merseyside ahead of a Premier League opener against his former club Tottenham Hotspur.
The 29-year-old started his career in Leeds before spending ten years in London with Spurs and, after a spell on loan at Goodison Park, joined permanently last year.
But after a decade in the capital, Lennon has adjusted to life back up north thanks to the support shown by all at Everton.
“I would definitely say this is feeling like home now,” he said.
“The lads, the staff and everyone at the club have always been great with me, and of course the fans as well. They made it really easy to settle back up here.

After the sacking of Roberto Martinez earlier this summer, Lennon believes the squad have settled in quickly with the methods of new manager Ronald Koeman.
“We are getting used to Ronald Koeman’s methods,” he added.
“Everyone knows how good a player he was and now he is our manager. The training has been first class and the lads have really enjoyed it, even though it has been tough.
“When a new manager comes in, you want to try to learn as much as you can from him as quickly as he can.
“The lads have bought into his tactics and now we are itching to show what we can do on the pitch.”
