Fellaini hails great relationship with United boss Mourinho
Marouane Fellaini claims he is loving life at Manchester United under Jose Mourinho, after some uncertainty in the summer following a tough spell at Old Trafford with former boss Louis van Gaal.
It was suggested the big midfielder was not part of Mourinho’s plans when he arrived in the summer but the Belgian has hailed his good relationship with the former Chelsea boss.
Mourinho has kept faith with Fellaini, who has made 31 appearances in all competitions so far this season, and may well select him to start in their Europa League tie against FC Rostov in Russia.
The Belgian admits his relationship with Mourinho could not have got off to a better start, and insists it has only got better from there.

“Mourinho called me before and during the Euros to tell me that I would not be allowed to leave and that he counted on me,” said Fellaini.
“I have a great relationship with him. I think he is simply a good human being. He will never give up on you so long as you work hard.
“He has a big personality and people respect him.
“When Van Gaal came in, he immediately told me that I did not have to leave, but that I was not his first, second or third choice.
“I was keen to leave when he told me that at first. But I just gave everything on the training pitch and made him change his mind within a couple of weeks.”
